Very High Wildfire Risk

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have forecast a very high wildfire risk across several parts of Scotland stretching into the weekend, this includes southern and eastern Scotland. 

If you're enjoying the warmer weather, please do so responsibly and take notice of any advice, hot, dry conditions increase the risks of wildfires, take simple steps to prevent fires from starting.

Avoid lighting outdoor fires or barbecues in affected areas. A single spark can cause significant damage.
